KWASU student declared missing

A student from Kwara State University, 24-year-old Jimoh Abdulmueez, has been reported missing since last Thursday. Jimoh, a computer engineering student, was last seen leaving the university campus in Malete for his home in Ilorin.

His disappearance prompted his mother, Mrs. Jimoh Amdalat, to file a report at the police station on Friday, but there has been no update on his whereabouts since then.

Concerned about her son’s well-being, Mrs. Jimoh Amdalat has appealed to the public for any information and can be contacted at 07030889682.

Efforts to reach the university’s spokesperson, Dr. Saeedat Aliyu, were unsuccessful. However, a source within the institution revealed that Jimoh’s parents visited the school but couldn’t locate him.

Jimoh left the campus around 7:00 pm on Thursday, intending to go home, but he was nowhere to be found on Friday when he was expected to take a test.

Friends attempted to reach him on his phone, but calls went unanswered. Upon contacting his parents, they disclosed they hadn’t seen him at home.

After an unsuccessful search, Jimoh’s parents reported the matter to the police. The spokesperson for the state police command, DSP Ejire Adeyemi Toun, confirmed that an investigation is underway.

The circumstances surrounding Jimoh Abdulmueez’s disappearance remain unclear, raising concerns for his safety and well-being.
