Bayern Munich midfielder Jamal Musiala has weighed in on the potential Champions League favorites for this season, highlighting Real Madrid and Manchester City as the primary contenders.
Both Real Madrid and Manchester City have already secured spots in the Champions League’s last-16 stage.
During an interview with Bayern correspondent Maximilian Koch, Musiala was asked to identify the top contenders for this season’s Champions League trophy. The Germany international mentioned, “Real Madrid and Manchester City.”
Adding to his assessment, Musiala acknowledged Arsenal’s impressive form under manager Arteta, noting, “But Arsenal are also playing very good football.”
Manchester City currently holds the Champions League title, securing the prestigious trophy by defeating Inter Milan 1-0 in the final, courtesy of Rodri’s decisive goal.
